Originality and Authorship Transparency
The editorial board of the Marketing of Scientific and Research Institutions (MINIB) journal adheres to the highest ethical standards regarding the originality of submissions and transparency of authorship. These standards align with the guidelines of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, principles of academic integrity, and international recommendations (including those of the Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE).
Authors are required to:
- Submit only original manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted to any other journal.
- Present research results in an honest, accurate, and transparent manner.
- Disclose the contributions of all individuals and institutions involved in developing the publication — including substantive, financial, and technical input.
All forms of publication misconduct are strictly prohibited, including:
- Ghostwriting – when a person who has contributed significantly to the article is not listed as an author or acknowledged.
- Guest authorship – when a person is listed as an author despite having made little or no contribution to the article.
Any violations of these principles — including ghostwriting or guest authorship — will be documented and reported to the appropriate institutions, particularly the author’s home institution and relevant academic associations.
The editorial board reserves the right to verify authors’ declared contributions and withdraw a manuscript from the publication process if concerns arise regarding its originality or the transparency of authorship.
